1080p is certainly better than 720p, so you should use. If a game does not work, then switch automatically to the output resolution of 1080p anyway, and then fell back to 1080p when using the XMB (office) back. With much better 1080p Blu-Ray DVD-quality.
It seems that there are some confusion about what "HD Ready", "HD compatible" and "HD-capable". I think for a TV called "HD ready" to actually be able to at least 720 vertical lines are shown.
To say that the TV "720p" should support 1280x720.
A TV labeled "HD Ready 720p/1080i" must be compatible with 1366x768.
To the name "HD ready 1080p" should support 1280x1080.
Was called "Full HD" should support 1920x1080.
As you can see, the TV can be 1080p, but still not qualify "Full HD" Though he be called an excellent resolution.
Could it be, have no other requirements of HD.
Not just HD Ready TVs have to display at least 720p or 1080i, you must also have at least one HDCP digital connection (HDMI or DVI) and a connecting element.
Perhaps your TV from the lack of or does not support HDCP.
To find your question on the resolution: Response to the difference between 720p and 1080p, you should say closer to 20 cm in front of the TV 32''(which, if your eyes are perfect). Nothing else will make no difference for the human eye.
Or put it in reverse: If you want to sit about 2 meters in front of the TV, you must be a 110''TV to really see a difference between 720p and 1080p.
A TV 110''de is about 3.8 meters wide and 2.16 meters high.
So you can keep it at 720 too. Even 720p would see a different 74''para need the pixels.
I really do not know enough, but the previous answer me completely confused. I know that 1080p is the best right now, then I would go with him, while the two devices can handle.
Unfortunately, this is a slight confusion in the majority (not just the player), 1080p is not final, meaning that the number of vertical pixels so it does not take into account the number varies considerably of horizontal pixels by the color and size of the screen: you use. Full HD 1920x1080 regarded as progressive scan, but within 2-3 1080p. And to make things even more confusing for a new 2160p resolution () is too early to on the street and in some cases already implemented (play high-end workstation hardware)
The PS3 is built to support graphics in 1080p, but only a handful of games that are scheduled to 1080p. Most likely to continue to 720p
Put it in 720p, since when it has been reduced in 1080p and the graphics, and I do not think you want. If this is not a full HD TV can put it on 1080p yet, but has some graphics. I hope that helped. :)
